                                                                      PLANT CARE AND GROWING INSTRUCTIONS.

 ALBIZIA JULIBRISSIN  ROSEA.

Transplant into a 2ltr pot in multipurpose compost. Water freely during the summer months and feed regularly with  tomorite, but ease up in the Autumn when all the leaves will drop. During the hard winter it can be moved into a cold greenhouse if you have one. But this is not mandatory as the plant is hardy to about minus 14 deg c. So Just grow it outside in a sunny sheltered position.

NEVER BRING IT INDOORS AND PUT A DISH UNDER IT.!!.i.e on a kitchen window sill .

 It will not leaf up again till late spring. During the growing season it is perfectly normal for some of its leaf stems to turn yellow and drop off. It will normally grow about 18" a year if you have followed the instructions above. From the time of purchase from me it will take about 4-5 yrs to start flowering.

This plant needs some Winter protection. So save some seeds from the plant which it produces freely at the end of the season.

Separate the fluff from the seed when its dry. store in a tin over Winter. then sow in the spring by covering lightly with perlite or sand. in small pot on the window sill or seed tray in the greenhouse.the  seed will produce a full size flowering plant that year. 

( well worth the trouble).
